Effective date: October 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Bitcom, LLC (“Bitcom,” “we,” “us”) collects through bitcom.us and through our text messaging programs, how we use it, and how we protect it. Services we provide under a signed customer agreement are also covered by that agreement and by the federal rules described in the CPNI section below.
Who we are
Bitcom, LLC is a business telecommunications provider at 3149 N. Ponce De Leon Blvd., Suite 3, St. Augustine, FL 32084. Our website address is https://bitcom.us.
Personal Data We Collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact or quote form on this website, we receive your name, company or organization, email address, phone number, and anything else you choose to write. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence.
Text messages. When you exchange text messages with us in either of the programs described in our Text Messaging Terms (internal API testing, and customer and support conversations), we keep the mobile number, the messages we exchange, when they were sent and delivered, and a record of when the number was opted in or opted out.
Information collected automatically. Our website host, WP Engine, records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page, and time of the request. This website also uses Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA, described under “Cookies and analytics” below.
What we do not collect on this website. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, health information, or account passwords through this website. Please do not send them through our forms.
We do not share your personal data
Any personal information that we collect (as identified in the “Personal Data We Collect” section) will not be shared with third parties. We do not sell, rent, or trade it.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
To run our own website and services we use providers that process data on Bitcom’s behalf and under our instructions: our website host, the telecommunications carriers that deliver our calls and messages, the messaging and customer-relationship platforms we use to send, receive, and keep records of text conversations with customers, and the Google services named below. They may not use it for their own purposes. We disclose information to a government agency only when a subpoena, court order, or other legal obligation requires it.
How we use it
We use what you send us to respond to you: to answer your question, check whether service is available at your address, prepare a quote, and follow up. If you become a customer, that information becomes part of our ordering and billing records and is used to provide, support, and bill for your service. We use text messaging information to run and validate our messaging platform, to communicate with you about your inquiry, service, support request, or account, to honor opt-in and opt-out choices, and to keep a record of consent. We do not use your mobile number to send you marketing or promotional text messages unless you have separately and expressly agreed to receive them. We use server logs and analytics to operate and secure the website and to understand how it is used.
Our Text Messaging Terms explain how to opt in, opt out, and get help.
Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)
If you are a Bitcom telecommunications customer, some of the information we hold about you, such as the services you buy, how you use them, and the related billing detail, is Customer Proprietary Network Information. CPNI is protected by Section 222 of the Communications Act and the Federal Communications Commission’s CPNI rules. We use CPNI to provide, bill, maintain, and repair your service, and to protect against fraud. We do not sell CPNI, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their marketing.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, which also processes information about your browser and device. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
If you log in to this website, which only our staff do, WordPress sets cookies to keep you logged in.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and correspondence as long as needed to respond to you and to service any account that results. We keep text messaging opt-in and opt-out records as long as needed to honor those choices and to show that we did. Customer records, including orders, service configuration, and billing, are kept for the periods required by our telecommunications record-keeping obligations and by tax and contract law.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email info@bitcom.us with the subject line “Privacy request,” call (904) 823-0771, or write to us at the address below. We will confirm who you are before acting on a request.
Some records cannot be deleted on request, such as regulatory filings, 911 address registrations, billing history, and records of a text messaging opt-out. We keep those until the obligation ends, and we will tell you what we kept and why.
To stop text messages from us, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or email support@bitcom.us. To stop email from us, reply to the email and say so.
Children
This website and our text messaging programs are for business use. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Information you submit through this website travels over an encrypted connection, and we limit access to the staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure. If you need to send us something sensitive, call us and we will arrange a better channel than a web form.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
